In very pleasant weather conditions on Sunday last the second County X Country Championship fixture of the season went ahead in St Augustine's College Grounds Abbeyside. Solas Centre 10km on Sunday.
On Sunday next October 13 th the Solas Centre 10 km run and Walk is in Waterford City starting near Shaw's on the Quay Waterford at 12.30 pm and finishing at the People's Park underneath De La Salle College near Water Street side. Final County Fixture
Coming up on Sunday next October 13 th we have the County B Juvenile X Country Championships u9,11,13,15 (medals for first six home in each event no team prizes) also Master's in St Augustine's College Grounds Abbeyside at 11 am. In the Juvenile B Championships any athletes placed in the first three or on a winning team in the A's are not eligible to compete.First Munster X Country fixture is the Juvenile even ages, u10, 12, 14, 16,18 Novice and U/23, Sunday week 20th October 2019 on Limerick Racecourse at 11.30am.
Autumn Open X Country
The Annual Autumn Open X Country takes place on Sunday October 20 th also in Abbotstown and entries are currently being taken online see Athletics Ireland Website The following categories will be catered for Women Senior 6000m Women Masters 35-64 6000m Men Masters 65+6000m Women Junior (U20) 2pm 4500m Women Masters 65+ 4500m ,Men Senior 7500m Men Masters 35-64 7500m Men Junior (U20) 6000m.2.45 pm.
